Why do I see "Index of /myusername"
when I type in my domain name?
The reason you see "Index of /yourusername"
is because you do not have your homepage named "index.html"

"index.html" to see your website up. Some
servers use "default.htm" or "home.htm",
but that will not work on our server.

Yes, just be sure to specify that you are requesting
a transfer and NOT a new domain on your order. You should
keep the service with your current provider while waiting
for your registrar to complete the transfer process.
How long does it take before my domain name is active?
Once your domain name has been registered (or transferred,
if applicable), it usually takes about 48-72 hours before
it is active. All Internet providers must update their
records (DNS tables) to reflect the new site's location.
How do I transfer files to my web site?

Transport Protocol (FTP) or your account's web-based
Control Panel. If you need FTP, mail, or other Internet
software, visit ZDNet

and reviews to help you decide which application is
best suited for your needs. We also provide a web-based
Control Panel to make it even easier for you to upload your files.

If you have just uploaded a new website, or a new file
to one of your folders, and then you go to your website
through your website, you may still see your old webpage,
as your browser will be pulling information from your
Temporary Internet Folder / Cache. To resolve this problem,
empty your Temporary Internet Folder and go to your
webpage and click the "refresh" button on
your browser. This is applicable to Internet Explorer
(IE) only. Users on Netscape should press the "shift"
key and while holding it down click on the reload button
on the browser..
